Han Kyung of Super Junior becomes the next target for anti-fans

Infamous anti-fan communities from Korea has always created huge burdens to stars over the past years. One year ago, DONG BANG SHIN GI member U-KNOW YUNHO became a victim of the hurtful actions done by an anti-fan and it had created a shock within the entertainment industry. Now, these group of anti-fans announced that their next target will be HAN KYUNG of Korea's popular boy group SUPER JUNIOR. In Korea, Han Kyung had repeatedly been harassed by anti-fans, thus his company arranged him to have activities done in China to "escape" from the anti-fans. Unexpectedly, anti-fans chased Han Kyung all the way to China, causing him to suffer more pain. The escape aided him no protection at all.

Insane Actions to Create Trouble

According to a witness, Han Kyung, who has lately been in China doing activities, encountered a so-called fan that wanted to give him a gift during his ride back to the hotel after recording a television program. The fan's fluentless Chinese created doubts within the staff. When the fan gave them the present and cake, the fan requested to have a picture with the idol. The staff were afraid that Han Kyung would be harmed and politely rejected the fan, using Han Kyung being sick as an excuse. After Han Kyung's polite apology, the staff immediately brought him back to the hotel. As they got back, the staff opened the present together and discovered that inside the box contained small bags full of blood. There was also a sharp knife and a stabbed picture of Han Kyung. Han Kyung immediately understood that this was done by an anti-fan, and after several testings of the cake, it was concluded that the cake contained a nameless poisonous powder. The company wanted to keep the true reasons to Han Kyung's visit to China a secret and thus Han Kyung did not disclose anything to the media.

Because SM Entertainment wanted to break into the Chinese market, SM purposely added Han Kyung in Super Junior. Chinese fans became interested and strongly affected by this star, the first Chinese celebrity to debut in Korea. Although it is a good thing that Han Kyung is popular in Korea, the anti-fan socities are still extremely unhappy that he came to Korea to steal the native Korean stars' bowls of rice. To protect the power that native Korean artistes' have in Korea, they are developing plans to kick Han Kyung out of Korea. They created negative rumors of Han Kyung so the audience could become disappointed in him, pressuring him to leave Korea's market.

In the beginning of the year, an anti-fan pretended to be a fan and sent a letter to SM to explain about the fan's disappointment in Han Kyung. The company thought that this was really written by a fan and decided to shrink down Han Kyung's activities. This aroused strong opposition from Han Kyung's fans and a group of them surrounded the SM building and protested loudly: Fight down the anti-fan society. However, the company did nothing to prevent the anti-fans in action. The anti-fan society continued to make an effort to create a bad image for Han Kyung. Anti-fans pretended to be a Han Kyung fan so they could merge into the group of fans to create trouble and some managed to grab some information about Han Kyung's recent activities and schedules. According to an SM worker, during February of this year when Han Kyung's fans created a gathering to celebrate his birthday, an anti-fan managed to slip into the crowd and jumped onto the stage, fowl-mouthing Han Kyung and yelled at him to crawl back to China. Soon the security pulled him away and did a search within the fans. They discovered that a fan had a bottle of sufuric acid and after more searching they discovered that the bottle was just water that had some powder added. To prevent the news to become extremely widespread, this incident was kept a secret.
Afterwards, an anti-fan immediately reported complaints about the incident. The anti-fan did not mention anything about a bottle of sulfuric acid and how the anti-fan had publicly insulted Han Kyung. Instead, the anti-fan posted messages as a fan of the star and openly criticized Han Kyung's unfriendly behaviour and SM Entertainment's unfair treatments towards fan. For this, the company did not reply or gave any comment, and the incident was quickly forgotten. Unable to defeat Han Kyung, anti-fan socities approached a more hurtful act, and created negative rumors of Han Kyung being involved in trades of amphetamine drug injection needles and sent threatening letters to SM to blacken Han Kyung's image. Afterwards, Han Kyung took the volunteered action to test his urine to prove his innocence. Unfortunately, this incident has caused a dark shadow on Han Kyung's image.

Slash Shipping Creates War

Slash shipping fanfiction is what fans enjoy to write. To give passionate support to certain celebrities, they will often pair them up and create a romantic fiction. These fanfictions, however, always revolved around gay couples. Within Super Junior, Han Kyung and "princess" HEECHUL are one of the most popular couples due to their close relationship. Fans become enthusiastic and thrilled when they witness close interactions between the two, see them wearing "couple" clothes and also when they often exchange looks when they sing. There are numerous fanfictions about these two on the web. Both Han Kyung and Heechul are also two of the most popular members from the group.

"Slash shipping" is a promotion method by SM to make fans happy. Seeing that slash shipping is being warmly welcomed by fans, the company purposely allows the members to show their closeness in the public. Touching each other at concerts and giving surprises to the other person by jumping on him behind his back are often seen. If it's not jumping on each other, there will be secret kisses. When the two are happy together, the fans will automatically become happy. This is one method that SM has purposely allowed for more promotion.

Unfortunately, in the extremely conservative Korea, the audience feels extremely offensive towards Han Kyung's actions. Anti-fans attacked, posting negative messages on Han Kyung's website, saying that Han Kyung should return to China to raises horses instead along with other extremely hurtful comments. SM has locked the message board to prevent more messages for being submitted. However, anti-fans managed to release viruses into the website. During April, an anti-fan with the surname Lee sent Han Kyung some of his nude pictures and semen, causing Han Kyung to be extremely uncomfortable.

The incident of Han Kyung being chased by anti-fans IS TRUE, unfortunately.

Can Sung Yuri top Yun Eunhye?

Ex-Finkl member Sung Yuri will be another girl disguised as a guy in her new drama Hong Gil Dong, just like Yun Eunhye from Coffee Prince. Although Joo Ji Hoon and Jo Hyun Jae backed out of this drama the last minute, the drama is still scheduled to air in November with new leads, Kang Ji-hwan and Jang Geun-suk.

BoA No Longer Enjoys Working Plans to Study Overseas

In a recent interview with the Japanese press, she made confessions that no fan of hers or the press expected to hear: that she "no longer" enjoys working, and that she plans to take a break from her usual routine and pursue her study in America.

She told interviewers that she was feeling "exhausted", which is hardly surprising, considering her incredibly busy schedules in the past seven years, going back and forth between Korea and Japan. However, her emotional problem apparently goes far deeper than that; she confessed that she felt as if "her identity as a human has been lost".

BoA said this is not a recent development. She felt that she had "lost direction" of her life ever since releasing Best of Soul, her best-of compilation that has sold more than a million copies in Japan. Since then she never really had time to reflect on her life and her goals.

Her plan to overcome this slump is to realize her teenage dream, which is to go to a university in America and pursue the studies that she has always wanted to do. She said that she was "certain" that in four years' time she'd be attending a university in the U.S., improving her English and dance skills.

It’s a dream made she was 15 years old — That she wants go abroad to America to study 10 years later, when she is 25 years old.

‘There’s still 4 more years to when I am 25 years old. Maybe I will really go abroad to study then. I want to study English and also take up ballet, these are what I feel are important and essential to me. Besides, I can still do recordings even when I am studying.’

Being an avid and inquisitive learner, BoA has mentioned during her teens years, that she would want to study Economics.”

How I Discovered Brian Joo...

to tell u d truth, brian joo wasn't my first korean male artist crush... but oh well i fell for him more than tim hwang (my first korean male artist crush).

in d year 2003. it was accidential actually...
when i was browsing on my files of boa's photos, i found a pic of boa with 'flytothesky' (ofcourse, dat tym, i don't even know 'flytothesky').
just... i found this cute and handsome guy (who is actually brian joo oppa) besides boa on d pic i found.
and i said to myself, 'hey this guy is really cute and handsome,' who is actually brian joo... then there's some text on d photo... something like 'fly to the sky 1010club.'
at first i didn't pay much attention, i just keep on mind dat maybe d two guys on dat photo w/ boa was somehow called fly to the sky 1010club '

this photo was d one i'm talking about... d 1st photo of brian i saw, where boa was also on it. (brian was d guy wearing yellow, and d other guy was fany/hwanhee)

then on d same year, 2003, i saw sm town's (collaboration of sm ent. artists) 'hello summer' music video. then i noticed again d same guy (brian joo oppa) i saw on one of my boa's photos i saw before.
at 1st when i was watching dat mv, i thought, hey dat guy w/ spiky & brownish hair is cute... then i think, 'wait, i think i saw dat guy before... a yeah, is he d same guy on d photo of boa i saw before?'.
then i paid more attention to him (brian joo oppa). gosh, he was really cool and he can rap well. he looks cute especially with his shades on... and oh my gosh, he keeps singing & playing happily w/ boa & d other artists.
and then, i just felt i envy boa for getting d chance to be singing and working with dat cute and handsome guy (brian joo)... then yup, i concluded after watching d music video dat he was d same guy on dat photo i saw before.

a couple of days after seeing dat sm town's mv, i was watching on 'arirang' while waiting for boa's 'double' performance, i'm not sure if it's 'show music tank' or 'showking m,' and i saw a performance of d two male kpop artists. because they were good looking, i watched it.
b4 d performance, first, each guy slowly appeared on stage as d song started to play, it's like there's a barrier or wall dat turned around for them to appear and be able to enter d stage.

i'm not sure who was d first to appeared but when they appeared on stage, their name was written on d thing they were standing on. so, i got to know their name, d one was fany & d other one was brian... and i thought, 'dat 'brian' guy is really cute'
then, d title 'missing you' & 'fly to the sky' was flashed on d screen. so think their name was 'fly to the sky' since d song is like a ballad love song. while i was watching them, i keep on eyeing to this, 'brian' guy coz i found him so cute....
again i think, 'he looks familiar for some reasons... and dat 'flytothesky' name was familiar, too'....
and then i thought, oh yeah i remembered... he was d same guy before who actually captured my attention again (and at dat tym now i know his name is 'brian').
remember, i was refering to dat sm town's summer music video & from dat photo of boa i saw before... then ryt after dat performance, i searched on d net about 'fly to the sky' to get more info about 'brian'...

later on, i came to know d facts like, 'fly to the sky' was d name of d male rnb duo korean singer composed of fany & brian and that they were really close to boa, especially brian, coz boa & flytothesky had d same manager & recording label b4; and dat brian's real name is 'brian joo'... also on d same year, 2003, dat's d time when their 3rd album was released, so i even downloaded their music videos
including d most memorable mv of them, for me, w/c is 'missing you'.... and dat started my obsession on brian joo oppa... i don't know, but i fell for him more than 'tim hwang' (d singer who sang 'i love you' or 'saranghamnida' in korean), who was my first kpop male artist crush...

when i saw these photos, my reaction was like 'yeah i know brian joo is really cute & handsome, but i didn't know he's actually really really cute, very handsome & totally... HOT!!! '

How I Discovered BoA Kwon...

boa is d 1st korean singer i knew about and d 1st kpop singer i've idolized.......

well actually, it's all bcoz of her performance in m.net music video awards 2002. dat time i was looking for talented and good looking japanese singers (coz i'm so addicted to anime' dat time). but then when i was browsing on different channels, i saw this korean music video festival, year 2002, in arirang channel. and coz it has english translation, i watched it. if i remembered it correctly, boa was introduced by d mc of the show and said she was famous in japan too. and dat captured my attention... if she's famous in japan, let me see if she's really worth of that phrase. and after showing her "no.1" mv, she then performed "waiting", "valenti" and "no.1" live... and i was like wah... this singer is really great... very impressive... i even turned up d volume of d tv while i was watching her performance. dat time, i don't really find her dat "pretty" and thought she was 18 years old (but actually, she was 15 years old dat time). also, because her name "BoA" is very easy to remember, it stucked in my mind. in addition, she was like the "star" on dat show coz she received 3 awards, best performer/dancer, best music video dance choreography and best music video. i even guessed right that she'll win the "best music video" and yeah she got it. then i thought, it's sad i can't buy her album coz korean albums are not available in the philippines...

then on early 2003, i was browsing channels on tv again and saw the "jewel song" mv in some chinese channel. then when i saw who the singer is, in my mind i think she looks familiar and dat asian singer is really pretty. then, when i saw the angle where she was singing near the mic, her face is 3/4 side way, i thought, is this singer the "BoA" i watched in arirang. i easily recognized her face on dat angle coz she looks exactly the same when i watched her in m.net when she's receiving the award and speaking near the mic, facing 3/4 side way. i couldn't even imagine she's d same BoA i watched coz i find her really "pretty" on the mv. so waited for the music video to be finished, luckily, her name was written in English alphabet so i can read it... and yeah she's the one and only "BoA" and her song is entitled "Jewel Song." right then, i started liking her.... i even searched the net after watching the music video and i was surprised to know she was born in the year 1986, she's the same age as mine... i thought she was really 18 dat time... oh well, maybe coz i haven't reached the age of 18 dat time, so i thought BoA is 18.
